Brendan Fowler

Biography

Brendan Fowler is a Los Angeles-based musician and multi-disciplinary artist who works in photography, sculpture, and performance. He first became known for his music performances and records released under the name of BARR. His exhibitions, improvised music and spoken word performances have taken place in a number of different gallery and art fair contexts. In the 1990’s, Fowler worked as an associate director at The Alleged Gallery in New York, where he was intimately involved in the careers of many of the artists included in Beautiful Losers.
